GASTOM 90 tomography experiment data inversion

The paper presents some results of the French tomography experiment GASTOM 90. The problem addressed is the non-resolvability of ray arrivals due to a double sofar channel propagation. It is shown how to overcome this problem using stable characteristics of the received signal. The linear inversion method is detailed relying on a regular gridding of the insonified area. Some results are then presented.<<ETX>>
