Characterization of Ultrawideband Antennas Using Noise

The theory of antenna measurement will be presented using noise, and a comparison to ultrawideband (UWB) frequency-domain method will be given. Experimental results will show that the noise method of antenna measurement and vector network analyzer (VNA) method are the same. The approach using the noise method provides a low-cost alternative to the frequency-domain method.
