Energy Efficient Distributed Cluster Heads Selection Algorithm of Wireless Sensor Networks

At present,the major Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) clustering routing protocols proposed are based on uniform distribution of nodes,the energy balance of consumption idealized assumptions,but in a real work environment,these assumptions often lead to cluster preferred to take unreasonable.To address the above issues,an energy efficient distributed cluster heads selection algorithm of sensor networks is proposed.When selecting cluster heads,the algorithm considers various factors such as the network topology characteristics and the node's energy consumption.Simulation results show that sensor network using this algorithm has better applicability and its useful life improves over doubled than traditional algorithms such as LEACH.
