Diagnosis and Bacteria Identification about Red-leg Disease of Wood Forg

The bacterial pathogens were isolated from the diseased wood frog ,which were cultured in a certain farm in Longjing county,Yanbian,Jilin province.The main symptom of diseased wood frog was that the muscle under hind-leg tur- ned red,the liver turned tumefy and appeared deep mauve,and the kidney congested and appeared fresh-red.Heart muscle ischemic necrosis. By the experiment of isolation , biochemical experiment,cultivationartificial infection,biochemical ex- periment and antibiotic sensitivity,the pathogens were identified as Aeromonas hydrophila.The results of antibiotic sensi- tivity tests showed that Streptomycin , Norfloxacin and Gentamycin were the most sensitive drugs and the pathogens were not sensitive to Erythromycin.
