Positioning a wireless communication system

The subject matter disclosed herein relates to a wireless communication positioning system, and particularly to locate the mobile station. In one aspect, a cellular network may be received from one or more non-serving cell propagation delay information, and may be partially based on the propagation delay information received from the one or more non-serving cell based on at least one or more positioning the non-serving cell to determine the location of the mobile station. On the other hand, positioning the pilot signal transmitted by the base station, and the propagation delay information may be transmitted from the base station to the mobile station. At least in part based on the propagation delay information received from the base station at least in part be determined based on the known location of the mobile station to the base station positioning.
