Intent-Driven Wireless 6G Mobile Communication Systems with Fundamentals, Architecture, and Use Case

The emergence of future mobile communication scenarios and novel service applications has transformed the way in which mobile communication systems are operated. Innovative solutions are required to cope with these challenges. Intent-driven network emerges on this requirement. In this article, we present an overview and generic architecture of intent-driven networks, with motivations for intent-driven network in future mobile communication systems. Then, we propose a novel intent-driven mobile communication system (IDMCS), where critical components and ideas of the presented IDMCS are explored. Finally, we implement the presented IDMCS in the case of the Internet of Things scenario to verify its effectiveness. Simulation results demonstrate the performance gain of our presented IDMCS.
