On the Solution of Some Diffusion Equations with Concentration-dependent Diffusion Coefficients

On the basis of analytical results an iteration method has been worked out for the numerical solution of a non-linear differential system arising from a diffusion equation with concentration-dependent diffusion coefficients. An example of application of the method is presented; with the aid of a GE-225 digital computer it takes two to three minutes to obtain the numerical solution with an error estimate of less than 1%.
