Coplanar waveguide transitions to slotline: design and microprobe characterization

Three types of coplanar waveguide/slotline baluns, suitable for monolithic integrated circuits, are designed and characterized to 40 GHz, using microwave wafer probes. The results from each are compared, and methods of biasing the slotline discussed. >
