Field measurementsofground fault currentdistri¬ bution andsubstation ground impedance oftheLG-2complex inQuebec, are presented. A high currentmeasuring tech¬ nique isdescribed inAppendix A.Appendix Billustrates the waycurrentdistribution andefficiency were determined. The effectiveness ofeachgrounding element iscalculated, show¬ ing thatthegrounding conductors andnottheground grid drain mostofthefault current.
