The invention discloses a PWM chopping LED driving circuit used for leading edge and/or trailing edge light regulation, which comprises a light regulation signal detection circuit, a PVM signal generator, a control circuit, an LED driving main circuit, a main circuit control circuit, a current loop, a current ring regulation circuit, an LED load and a shutdown signal, wherein the light regulationsignal detection circuit detects a light regulation signal, and converts the light regulation signal into a level signal, and the level signal is compared to a modulation signal of the PWM signal generator through the PWM signal generator and the control circuit to obtain a PWM signal. Thereby, the effect that the duty ratio of the PWM signal generated by the PWM signal generator and the control circuit is changed along with the change of the light regulation signal is realized, the load current output by the LED driving main circuit is also changed along with the change of the PWM duty ratiovia the control of the PWM signal, so the goal of light regulation through the light regulation signal is reached, and the effect of unchanged LED light color is also reached.
