Switching system for basic input and output system and switching method thereof

The invention relates to a switching system for a basic input and output system and a switching method thereof. The switching system for the basic input and output system is suitable for a computer system, and comprises an input module and a storage module, wherein the storage module also comprises a plurality of basic input and output systems, an option recording block and a start-up management block; the input module produces a switching signal according to the operation of a user; and the start-up management block changes a record of an execution option in the option recording block according to the production of the switching signal, wherein the execution option records identification information for one of the basic input and output systems; and the start-up management block performs the basic input and output system, which performs the option indication, at the start of the computer system. The system can directly select to perform one of different basic input and output systems after sending a switching command without using any additional hardware device, and can ensure that other basic input and output systems are used immediately when one of the basic input and output systems is damaged or requires conversion.
