The invention discloses a method for detecting a lane line. The method comprises steps that filtering of a lane image is carried out, and a lane line candidate region of the lane image is determined; a center point of the lane line candidate region is extracted; curve fitting of the center point of the lane line candidate region is carried out to acquire a fitting curve of the lane line candidate region; the lane line candidate region is divided into linear lane line candidate regions and curved lane line candidate regions according to an inclination angle of the fitting curve of the lane line candidate region; according to the distinguishing result, the lane line candidate regions are grouped; two groups satisfying first pre-determined conditions are taken as target groups, and the lane line candidate regions of the target groups are taken as lane line regions. The invention further provides a device for detecting the lane line and equipment.
