Physicochemical character and food value of two Venezuelan cactus fruits

Properties of fruits of two wild species of two columnar cacti, cardon dato (Stenocereus griseus) and cardon lefaria (Cereus repandus) are reported. The fruits seem to have good potential as food and feed in Venezuelan arid zones. Copyright © 2004 Whurr Publishers Ltd
