A more efficient method for defining fuzzy connectives [Fuzzy sets and systems 90 (1997) 25-35]

We define t-norm, t-conorm, negation and implication for intervals. Especially the ‘small intervals’ are considered. A sufficient and necessary condition is established for the defined connectives in order to have all the properties known from set theory or equivalently from the two-valued logical connectives.
