Correction of emission tomography data: effects of detector displacement and non-constant sensitivity

Small distortions of projection data in emission tomography can cause essential loss of quality of a reconstructed image. In particular, a displacement of the detector head parallel to its plane and angular non-uniformity of its response function caused by imperfections in the hardware should be properly taken into account. In the present paper a method for data correction is proposed. The method is based on the range conditions for the exponential Radon transform.
