Compact Wide-Band Wavelength Blocker Utilizing Novel Hybrid AWG-Free Space Focusing Optics

We propose hybrid AWG-free space focusing optics which is about a half size of the conventional 2-f system. Using this optics, we demonstrate a 40-channel 100-GHz spacing wavelength blocker with the 0.5-dB passband of 76 GHz.
