The Present Situation & Developing Trend of Marine Transport Ship and Its Influence on Port Construction of China

The ship type affecting the port construction and the developing trend of the size are analyzed through reviewing the revision of the designed ship type and size code of sea port engineering of China.The analyses on the present situation and developing state for the typical sea transport ship types such as that of container,dry bulk cargo and the crud oil are also given and the developing trend to large-scale for the three main kinds of cargo ship and the main ship types are proposed.The development of large-scale ship has directly affected the port construction of China.It raises the new topic for the technology of off shore terminal construction,deep water long channel construction and facility collocation of port technology.
