An Adaptive Frequency Control Strategy of Low-voltage Microgrid

Since microgrid are facing sudden load change, to meet the rapid power distribution, the islanded microgrid operates at a high droop gain coe‐cient. However there are contradictions between high droop gain and the regulation of frequency and voltage stability. This paper put forward an adaptive frequency control strategy which adopts improved P=‐ droop controller which introduces an active difierential gain and reactive integral gain coe‐cient. The strategy avoids the mutations of voltage and frequency caused by load disturbance. In order to achieve the secondary voltage and frequency regulation, PI controllers are added to improve the stability of the microgrid operationSimulation and experiments improve that the proposed control strategy the proposed control strategy is efiective.
