Device and method for connecting device in wireless terminal

PURPOSE: A device connecting device of a portable terminal and a method thereof are provided to maximize the usability of Wi-Fi P2P by connecting communication through contact between devices including NFC(Near Field Communication) modules. CONSTITUTION: An NFC(Near Field Communication) module(180) exchanges device information for communication connection through contact with a specific device. A control unit(110) controls communication connection with the specific device through the device information exchanged through the module. If a portable terminal connects NFC to the specific device by contact with the device on a Wi-Fi communication connection setting screen, the control unit turns on Wi-Fi P2P(Peer to Peer) to automatically switch the portable terminal into a Wi-Fi P2P mode.
