Invisible houses: co-developing an augmented reality application for enhancing construction design processes

This paper outlines the design and development process of the 'Invisible Houses' service prototype by presenting development challenge, used Co-development methodology, prototype development process and user research activities. The aim of this research is to study how persons aiming to build small residential houses can utilize novel augmented reality technologies during urban and construction planning. Our findings show that the used methodology is practical approach for co-developing prototypes, especially in the case of digitalized services that aim to provide novel experiences in urban and construction planning context.
