Estimation of the Optimal Unit Numbers of Parallel Architecture with the Checking Instrument

While designing the flight control system,the reliability problem should be firstly taken into account.To achieve the reliable goal,the redundancy is usually adopted.As far as the selection of redundancy numbers before the designing is concerned,there exists no paper dedicated to this problem.A reliability model based on similar redundancy parallel system is obtained,which consists of working,monitoring and isolating unit.The theoretical results for reliability accounting problem based on the model are proposed.Two expressions are obtained.Firstly,an expression is intended for calculating the system reliability.Since this expression is too complex for calculating the optimal numbers of parallel units,so the second expression based on an abstract model is proposed.The two expressions are all applied to numerical examples.And some conclusions are deduced.One of them can be used to estimate the optimal numbers of parallel units.
