The National Information Infrastructure and Dual-Use Technology Transfer.

Abstract : This report focuses on an efficient extension to traditional technology transfer practices using the World Wide Web's (WWW) interactive features to promote the transfer and commercialization of technology developed by Rome Laboratory (RL). Emphasis was on aligning the technology transfer portion of the RL Web site with the need of private sector technology transfer professionals and the business processes of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) at Rome Laboratory. Concepts and principles guiding the organization, structure, and design of Web sites as a suitable medium for electronic technology transfer are from the literature on transaction costs, marketing, diffusion, information retrieval, and strategic networking.
