There is described a method (600) for creating a parameter map (51) of a hollow organ (20). The spatial extent of the displayed hollow organ (20) is first determined in an image space. Subsequently, a three-dimensional coordinate system to be displayed for the hollow organ (20) in response to the determined spatial extent of the hollow organ (20) is set in the image space. Finally, the parameter map is by assigning image space location information of a group of voxels (52, 53) made of the hollow organ (20) in the image space to individual cards points of the parameter map using a map mesh roll. There is also provided a method for statistically analyzing of a hollow organ (20) associated with the image space location information described. a device (70) to create a parametric map (51) of a hollow organ (20) It is further described.
