Study on Trajectory Planning of Parafoil Homing Under Variable Wind Field

The variable wind field is one of the most important factors that affects the homing precision of parafoil system. K-means clustering method is used to analyze the measured wind field data of one month in a certain area, and two clustering centers are obtained according to the wind field in the morning and evening. Adopt three-segments homing methods for trajectory planning in the two variable wind field clustering centers, and two planned trajectories as well as the control variables are solved. Take the two clustering centers as the wind field input and control variables as the control input in parafoil four degree of freedom dynamics model and solve two simulated trajectories. Compare the planned trajectories and simulated trajectories in clustering centers, results show that their coincidence degree is extremely, which proves the effectiveness of the homing algorithm. Compare the two planned trajectories in two clustering centers, results show that the effect of wind field can be eliminated by changing the initial position.
