Efficient Contention Resolution Algorithms for Recirculation Multicast Based Optical Router Switch Architecture

This paper presents multicast contention resolution algorithms for the multicast optical switch architecture employing recirculation multi-wavelength conversion. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithms effectively improve the optical network performance.
