Interference checking of injection mould cooling system

To solve the problem of high error-rate and low efficiency in interference checking of injection mould cooling system, a module developed on the UG platform for cooling system interference checking was proposed. Based on the rule definitions of cooling circuit and the graph construction of the three-dimensional model inputted, the system achieves the sub-graphs of cooling circuit and recognizes the complete cooling system. With the obtained cooling system, the connectivity of cooling circuit is judged, and the further distance interference checking is realized. It is concluded that the module on NX platform for interference checking of injection mould cooling system is applicable.
