Design and manufacture of low speed permanent magnet motor drive

In this paper, design of permanent magnetic synchronous motor drive with sinusoidal excitation is pursued with the aim of technical reliability increase and implementation cost decrease. In this regard, the constraints in the way toward motor manufacture are mentioned. Then, steps are taken to cope with these issues by appropriate designing of controller and drive. Cost-effectiveness and ease of implementation along with specific operation of controller electrical protection for the inverter and machine in terms of drive transient performance quality increase are the most important features which are studied in this work. In contrast to the other vector control techniques that are essentially complicated for proper design of controller, the propose design is performed while maintaining innovations in fundamental drive science.
