Fast algorithm based on the probability of intra prediction mode decision

Intra prediction coding is mainly to eliminate the correlation of the spatial domain. Firstly the article introduces the traditional intra prediction algorithm. And then according to the correlation between the most likely patterns and best mode, It draws a pattern matrix. By the advantage of this mode matrix for early termination, it can improve the efficiency of intra prediction 9%-15% in the condition of image quality without the decline. If it allows certain decline in video quality, by the use of compact mode matrix, the judgment process of the model can be further reduced. The experiments show that, by the use of compact mode matrix, the computer performance can get an improvement about 33%-48% when the PSNR declines about 0.03db.
