WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED ABOUT INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS

In this document, a group of authors look back on the 10 years of the national intelligent transportation systems program and examine which ITS technology applications have been successful, which have not been successful and what are the underlying factors that determine success versus failure.
