URSOFC Power Generation Performance Simulation with Characteristics of the Electrode

This study aims to design the parameters of unitized regenerative solid oxide fuel cell (URSOFC) microstructure. A URSOFC model is built under multi-physics coupling by COMSOL Multiphysics® software. The numerical simulations are conducted according to the governing equation, and the results are compared with that of the control group with the same parameters. The results show that the power generation performance of the battery increases with the increase of the porosity of the cathode. In contrast, the increase is much greater than expected with the impact of the porosity on the anode.
