Simple equivalent circuit model with foreign object on wireless power transfer via magnetic resonant coupling

Efficiency degradation is induced by the metal structure of foreign objects near wireless power transfer devices using magnetic field. While this phenomenon is well known, the corresponding modeling method is ambiguous. A simple equivalent circuit model of wireless power transfer is explored with metal placement near coils. The causality was studied through magnetic field analysis and subsequently confirmed.
