Contributions to the Study of Fossil Snipe-Flies (Diptera: Rhagionidae). The Genus Palaeobolbomyia

Five new species assigned to the genus Palaeobolbomyia are described from the Upper Mesozoic of Asia. The age of the deposits and the phylogeny of the genus Palaeobolbomyia are discussed. A key is pro- vided to all known species of the genus Palaeobolbomyia .
