A Comparison of Nutrient intake and Digestibility in Beef cows Grazed on Nezasa dwarf bamboo (Pleioblastus chino var. viridis)-Dominated Pasture and Improved Grass Pasture

was a menoculture ef Italian ryegrass (Lolium muttifiorum Lam.). NDF eontent in the native pasture was higher than in the improved grass pasture. CP eontent was similar in the both pastures, while degradability of protein was lower in the native pasture than in the improved grass pasture. Cows grazed on the natiye pasture had lower DM, CP and ME intakes ihan the cows grazed on the improyed grass pasture CP<e.05}, There was no significant clifference in NDF intake between the pastures (P
