FEM of High Pressure Reciprocating Pump Crankshaft Intensity

Crankshaft is the most important part in reciprocating pump.Its intensity significantly affects operating safety of high pressure reciprocating pump.Through movement analysis and computation for various parts,the load of crankshaft is obtained.3-D crankshaft model is built up in Pro/E.Crankshaft intensity is analyzed under three kinds of dangerous working condition through ANSYS.Distribution characteristic of the maximum main stress,the minimum main stress and Mises stress are gotten.The results give theory support for design and development of high pressure reciprocating pump.
