Generation and coding of a 100 Gbit/s signal by an InP-based optical multiplexer integrated with modulators

The authors demonstrate a novel InP-based optical multiplexer integrated with MQW electroabsorption modulators for 100 Gbit/s transmission. A 100 GHz optical pulse train is generated and coded with a pseudorandom NRZ pattern.
