Dynamic Characteristics Analysis of West-East Pipeline in China

This paper, which is based on West-East Gas Transportation Project, manages to build mathematical models to describe hydraulic characteristics and simulate the operation of the system. It studies the impact of changes in hydraulic system, and analyzes the fluctuations in operational characteristics of pipeline combined with initial conditions and boundary conditions, particularly those delivery points that connect different consumers, and investigates operation characteristics and the interaction between laterals, liaison pipelines and the mainline.Copyright © 2006 by ASME
