Design of Password-Based Door Locking System

This paper validates the use of password-based door locking system which can protect our houses, offices and factories. 8051 microcontroller is the important device which is used in the circuit to control, monitor, and process. In this system, the user will have a unique password. The checking is done by matching the entered password with the password already fed into the system. If an appropriate password is entered, then the door motor is rotated by the system and the status is exhibited on the LCD, whereas if the password is incorrectly matched, then the door doesn’t open and a statement of “WRONG” is shown in LCD. A keypad is used to enter the password and if we will enter the wrong password three times, then the buzzer will be activated to indicate for the wrong password.
