A kind of piecewise-linear capacitor synthesis and realization through an operational amplifier

In this paper, a kind of piecewise-linear capacitor is realized through an operational amplifier based on the algebraic n-port theory. The design formulae and circuits are given. A three-order autonomous double scroll chaos circuit consisting of linear resistors 、linear inductor 、linear capacitor and piecewise-linear capacitor is developed. The simulation and the laboratory experiment results show the piecewise-linear capacitor is robust.
