A four-point interpolation subdivision scheme is a new interpolation method suggested in the mid-1980s. Because of its efficiency and convenience, the systems of curve and surface design based on the four-point scheme have been developed successfully in mechanics CAD, garment CAD and jewelry CAD, etc. In this paper, we discuss the convergence of four-point scheme in nonuniform control points and the error estimation.
