Auto-disturbance rejection controller in the wind energy conversion system

This work presents a controller for maximum wind energy capture of wind power system according to the theory of auto disturbance rejection controller (ADRC). The uncertainties in the torque of turbine and friction are both considered as an unknown disturbance to the system. The expending state observer can evaluate the unknown disturbance. With the nonlinear state error feedback control law, the disturbance can be compensated. The control law only has a relationship with the reference and the output. So the control is simplified with fewer variables detected. The maximum energy capture is achieved through the design of a tracking-differentiator. The feasibility, adaptability and robustness of the control is tested by this result.
