Noise Generated from UHV DC TransmissionLines

Toresearch theeffect oftemperature andhumidity on audible noise generated fromUHV DC transmission lines, amini coronacagehasbeenconstructed and putina manual environment room,whichtemperature andhumidity canbe controlled. At thesametime, an audible noiseperformance measuring system byusing A/Cweighted network audible noise meterand8kHzacoustic sensor havebeensetuptoo. Theaudible noise generated fromacopper line havebeenmeasured inamini coronacagenotonlyatdifferent humidity from30%to95%but alsoatdifferent temperature from0°Cto30°C. Therelationship between audible noise level andtemperature andhumidity have beenobserved. I.INTRODUCTION
