Controlling testing machines with digital image correlation

A two-loop system is developed to integrate a sub- pixel correlati on algorithm to evaluate the average strain of a region of interest and control a servo-hydraulic testing machine. An a priori uncertainty analysis is validated a posteriori with actual strain measurements.
