A New Modified Approach of TOPSIS Based on Fuzzy Preference

Based on PIS(positive ideal solution) and NIS(negative ideal solution) of decision matrix , this paper investigates how the set of preference weight of criteria is determined according to the fuzzy preference to each DMU of decision maker which make the result of decision be consistent with fuzzy preference of decision maker finally. We introduce fuzzy prefer- (ence) of DMU and refer to the thought of PIS and NIS, then present the new model of TOPSIS based on fuzzy preference. A new approach to get weight of criteria is presented according to subjective fuzzy preference of decision making and objec- tive information of decision matrix.
