Broadband powerline channel and capacity analysis

Powerline channel has been considered as a medium not only for low-rate, control communications, but also for high-speed data communications, such as home networking and Internet access. In order to implement advanced communication technologies, the complete knowledge of the broadband powerline channel, including the analysis of the channel capacity, are required. This paper strives to widen the understanding of broadband indoor powerline channel by focusing on the properties of indoor powerline channels and its noise behavior. We use water-poring algorithm to optimize the channel capacity.
