Capacity of 60 GHz wireless communication systems over Ricean fading channels

This paper considers the channel capacity of a 60 GHz wireless communication system over Ricean fading channels. The analysis is based on a link budget model. Phase shift keying (PSK) modulation is examined under FCC power constraints for the unlicensed 59–64 GHz radio spectrum. The channel capacity over a Ricean fading channel is compared with the capacity in an additive white Gaussian noise channel and a Rayleigh fading channel.1
