An algorithm for reverse traffic channel rate control for cdma2000 high rate packet data systems

cdma2000 high rate packet data standard is a third generation wireless standard that provides higher download speeds for wireless data users. This paper describes an algorithm to control the data rate at which access terminals transmit data on the reverse traffic channel on this system. The paper also presents results on the reverse traffic channel throughput and outage probability of the system obtained from numerical simulations.
