Smooth‐walled spline‐profile Ka‐band horn covering both the full commercial and military bands

As an alternative to the corrugated horn, a low-cost smooth-walled spline-profile horn has been designed to cover the complete Ka-band satellite bands. This new horn is used as a feed in a typical dual-reflector antenna to demonstrate the overall antenna system meets the usual performance requirements. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
