Mode‐Grüneisen parameters of alkali halides

In the present paper, we examine the volume‐dependent anharmonic interactions using the volume dependence of the long‐wavelength optic mode phonon frequencies. The mode‐Gruneisen parameters determined are shown to be in good agreement with the available experimental data.
