Improving Student Problem Solving in Genetics.

Genetics has been described as both important and difficult for students to understand. In this paper we make prescriptions for improving student understanding of, and problem-solving performance in, transmission genetics. The prescriptions are derived from research on novice/expert studies in transmission genetics.
