Method for testing paths of switch network in switching system

PURPOSE: A method for testing paths of a switch network is provided to secure system maintenance, and service continuity and stability of a switch network through a test and a state management by performing a test with respect to waiting paths in a hardware manner. CONSTITUTION: An effective path is confirmed according to each board on an initial start and a state change of the effective path is identified for a data base(S2). Each active path is confirmed by a reverse receiving path with respect to each board to search an entire active path for a data base(S3). The entire waiting path is set to be totally opposite with the active path for a data base(S4). A test result is outputted with insertions and extractions of test pattern data by constructing a test environment according to the kind of a test request path and a test type(S5).
